CREATIVITY DROP BOX-11-04-2020
In an effort to foster creativity and provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, the school administration decided to set up a “Creativity Drop Box” in the school premises. The drop box was a designated space where students could drop in their creative works, such as paintings, crafts, artworks, drawings, and even trolls. The purpose of this initiative was to encourage students to think outside the box and explore their creative abilities.
TIKTOK COMPETITION (19/04/2020)
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, schools and colleges across the world were forced to shut down, and students were confined to their homes due to lockdowns and restrictions. During this challenging time, the Union of our school came up with an innovative idea to keep the students engaged and connected with each other – a TikTok competition
IR DAY AND INTERNATIONAL FOOD FEST – SPORTS AND GAMES.
The School of International Relations and Politics at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam organized a two-day sports and games event on the 28th and 29th of June 2022. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the students.The sports and games event featured a range of activities, including cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton. The students enthusiastically participated in the games and displayed their athletic skills and abilities. The competitive spirit was high, and the matches were closely contested, making for an exciting and entertaining event.
SIRP BADMINTON COURT INAGURATION
The School of International Relations and Politics at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, inaugurated a new badminton court named ‘SIRP Badminton Court’ on the 7th of April 2022. This initiative was a joint effort of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the SIRP Students Association, and it aimed to provide the students with a platform to pursue their interests in sports and games.

ONAM QUIZ – ONNAVANAM
The School of International Relations and Politics at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam organized a cultural competition named “Onnavanam” on 31st August 2022. The highlight of the event was the Onam Quiz competition, which aimed to test the participants’ knowledge of the traditions and customs associated with the festival of Onam.
