MoU Signed Between CMPIG and IIMAD for Skill Development and Research

In a significant step towards fostering collaboration in skill development, internship programs, on-the-job training, project assistance, collaborative research, and extension activities, the Centre for Migration Policy and Inclusive Governance (CMPIG) and the International Institute of Migration and Development (IIMAD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed by Prof (DR) Jayachandran K, Registrar of Mahatma Gandhi University, representing CMPIG, and Dr S Irudaya Rajan, Chair of IIMAD, on behalf of the President of IIMAD. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Prof. C.T Aravindakumar, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, and Dr Bijulal M.V, Chairperson of CMPIG, along with Research Coordinator Mr Navas M Khadar.

This collaboration aims to enhance the quality of skill development programs, provide valuable internship opportunities, and promote research activities in the field of migration policy and inclusive governance. Both parties expressed their commitment to leveraging their resources and expertise for the mutual benefit of their institutions and the community at large.

The MoU signifies a new chapter in the partnership between CMPIG and IIMAD, paving the way for innovative initiatives and impactful projects in the realm of migration studies and development.
