International Conference on “BRICS @ 2026: India’s Leadership and the Future of the Global South”

The Institute for Contemporary Chinese Studies and the School of International Relations and Politics (SIRP), Mahatma Gandhi University, in association with the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) and the Institute of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Kerala, is organizing the BRICS Curtain Raiser Dialogue Series – Inaugural Lecture tomorrow (19/12/2025) at Old Seminar Hall, SIRP
The conference will focus on India’s priorities in BRICS 2026 and the expectations of the Global South, featuring a keynote address by Prof. T. V. Paul (McGill University, Canada), with the inauguration by Prof. C. T. Aravindakumar, Vice Chancellor, MGU. The session will be chaired by Prof. C. Vinodan, Director, SIRP.
